idk where did you get that. Zatch was definitely a powerhouse, if he didn't have enough power he wouldn't be able to defeat them.
Gash's spells are powerful but his wins are often conditional, like they have to utilize Zaguruzemu to boost up spells power to properly counter their opponents for a good chunk of the story.

Even Baou has its own restriction before the late game, so they have to plan it out before using it, unlike other demons that can just ditch out Baberuga Gurabidon and be done with it right away.

Did you even read the prequel? There were numerous enemies that Zatch himself never beat because of power, but through strategy. The narrative and story itself even showed how outmatched he was in raw power compared to the others and how almost all his major victories were through strategy, not brute force or power.

ALMOST ALL OF HIS NOTABLE VICTORIES WERE NEVER THROUGH RAW POWER.

Like Robnos that faked a kidnapping of one of Kiyo's friends to fight him. His basic spell was much stronger than anything Zatch had, and Kiyo only won by using a lightning rod to turn his own power against him. This was the guy who blocked Zatch's most powerful attack with one hand.

Or how about Barry? Who completely demolished Kiyo and Zatch in their first encounter. And then later on when he comes back, he solos an enemy that Zatch and his group barely managed to defeat prior to that guy receiving a power up from Zeno?

Or how about the battle against Pamoon who overpowered Zatch and only had a change of heart because of seeing how strong and resolute his character and determination was.
Or how about Demolt? A guy that required the entire team to defeat and a lot of strategy created by Kiyo?
Or how about Coral Q? Required Kiyo to set up an incredibly long strategy just to defeat him?

Or how about Earth? Who was revealed that he was holding back the whole time against Zatch? And even he needed help from Ted just to survive?
Or how about Rein? A guy who effortlessly destroyed Riou? Riou who prior to this, was completely dominating Zatch and Kiyo?

And so many more examples.

Zatch didn't make it so far because of raw power. He won by teamwork and strategy in almost everyone of his major battles. How did you even come to conclusion that he wins by raw power?
Even his most powerful spells require stacking Zaguruzemu multiple times before he could match the opponent's most powerful spells.

I did, you seem to have not though. You NEED POWER to DAMAGE YOUR ENEMIES. HE HAD IT. No matter how much you fry your brain to excuse your opinion, this fact won't change. Kiyo was the difference that made zatch win when he went against someone equal or slightly above, never overwhelmingly above.

Says the person who couldn't even give a single example or proof to counter my argument, meanwhile I made a whole list of examples showing why Zatch and Kiyo were more about planning and strategy first and power second.

Yeah, and so does every other Mamodo who can damage their enemies. Zatch isn't some exception to this rule. Even some of his teammates do the damaging part even better than he did. Showing that raw power isn't his specialty. He's not Brago, he's not Barry, he's not Rion, he's not Ashruon.
Zatch always falls back to strategy, and rarely does he win in a manner that completely dominates his opponent in a show of overwhelming force like them. Because in terms of raw power level, he's actually just about slightly above average. Which is why almost all of his battles has him use strategy to overcome his enemies. Because in terms of raw power, he's actually nothing too special compared to all the other heavy hitters who can just charge in and win via brute force.
Kiyo was the difference that made zatch win when he went against someone equal or slightly above, never overwhelmingly above.
Which is prior to Baou's awakening, is like 70% of the enemies he faced. Apart from Kanchoume's first appearance which is played for laughs, Zatch never faced anyone where he had an overwhelming power advantage over and often won through strategy.

If there was anyone who could charge in and win via brute force against Zatch, He wouldn't have won.
