not shure what do you mean, Ashuron was one of the participants, part of the final 10 in the mamodo battle (one of the elite 4 that could fight adult mamodo) this is probably his growth spurt, he was a kid~teen in the prequel

That's Ashuron, one of the top 10 demon kids from the last battle. He's not a spell. It's not surprising he survived considering he's one of the tougher demons even without access to his spells.

This manga refuses to miss. Every month is a great chapter that rewards you for reading Gash Bell. If we get this quality for the next 3-5 years it might be the greatest sequel ever written.

Fantastic chapter! Honestly, on one hand I would've loved if Tio learned a new spell, but this is an excellent call back to the first time they worked together. And the teaser at the end, majestic.

In the demon battle, there were 4 strong demon kids who were even stronger than most demon adults. Zatch's brother Zeno, Brago, Elzador and Ashuron. So yeah, He's very powerful.
