Absolutely not! Kiyumaru literally died a little big ago and is probably gonna be back and fine. This is indeed som bullshit but that's what the power of love does in a series where the magic literally runs on heart power.

Lest we forget that other characters have straight up magical abilities! Like Apollo when he was still in the fight.

Or sunbeam in how he can generally understand umagon. Or the other horse kid who can just straight up understand his horses words!

Her being able to understand her beloved so deeply that she can accurately guess where he is and what he's doing isn't that nuts

If they had the guts to actually kill off Kiyumaru this manga would be even better, I'd love to see how it would go for Gash

But I don't mind the power of friendship trope in this manga, I went in already expecting it anyway. But I'm still hopeful that maybe Won Lei or someone else's book will be burned in this arc, maybe someone going out being a hero for everyone else like Kyanchome would be nice. Tio I'm not ready to say goodbye yet, I love her and Megumi
