my guy Sunbeam is with that nun together, best ending. MAN, what a great manga i usually tend to drop battle shounens but this was so enjoyable. Definitely underrated here in the west at least. Really good combination of comedy and action along with memorable characters and their relationships truly is beautiful, this was an amazing read.

I recommend everyone to go and read, or re-read Doubutsu no Kuni, it is also just as good.

Anywa fucking amazing battle shounen manga, I always reread it every few years and it’s still my favorite ever.

@PramTheOracle I always recalled loving Dr. Riddles and Kid aside from Gash and Kiyo. I also really liked Ted but that might be from the extra bits he got from the anime

Glad to see I'm not the only one who rereads this every so often, it's my was my first real manga reading experience back in middleschool (well over a decade ago yeesh!!) and as such it always holds a special place in my heart.

I also recommend Animal Land, it's a great showing how Raiku has grown as an mangaka!

Really nice read honestly. The battles and spells got a bit wonky and overpowered around the Faudo arc, but never really terrible.

Well done character writing and a pretty perfect ending too. Bit odd there is a sequel and unsure if i should even read it, since this is a pretty good way to end it all.

I stumbled upon this anime from Folgore's song and Very melon, i laughed but i was not convinced at first. Then there's a clip of Gash fixing a broken wall with laundry starch, funny sh*t.

I didn't expect much from this manga because i thought "even though the rating is good, there's not many people reading it". This turns out to be one of the best manga i have ever read and finish. The world building , characters & their development, peak comedy, amazing battles and story, PEAK spells and power . I also love the flash back, most of them are short but it makes us understand them more, because in the end, they all just a demon child.

I was a bit surprised when Clear appear, but author decided to fight that bullshit with another bullshit power, Which delivered very well and those fights is just too epic.
