How can they make a smart enough character that knows everything is going down hill... but at the same time fool enough to stay, are they trying to depict an abusive relationship?, like she does not want to leave because she is afraid of the guy´s bad temper?, if that is the thing i would rather deal with him in the middle of town than to go down the dungeon in a hopeless mission
