Feeling a bit like Aku no Hana. Not nearly as exciting as that manga is, but it has a similar feel, with two teens tapping into their evil self-destructing tendencies to the point where they can't stop.

...Like, you can absolutely get jobs without going to high school. Middle school is also the end of the legally required education in Japan and you generally need to pay tuition to go to high school so it's not like not going to high school is that strange. Like, it isn't common, but, if you learn someone didn't go to high school, that sounds more like someone in the US not having gone to university.

Also, this wasn't them dropping out of school.
