Yeah, according to ichijin+ the next chapter will come out November 28th, so strap in for the wait...

It can't launch on the 28th, since the magazine, Yuri Hime, comes out on the the 18th each month. Or earlier if the 18th is on a weekend. And chapter 16 is currently set for October 18th in Japan. The magazine issues have that numbering like comic books where the issue seems more months into the future than it actually is. It's a pull from shelf date, not a launch date.

Ichijin+ gets chapters weeks after they first come out. For example, chapter 15 launched on Ichijin+ just a few days ago when it launched around August 18th in Yuri Hime. There's roughly a month and a half difference there.

Akane is a single bright sunshine in this manga though 😊
