Why is ange even in the story? Nobody has any personality, and Ange has even less. It makes no sense for a ruling empress to be a second wife or concubine. So, ange shouldn't show up until afte he's engaged with the empress. Its lopsided for some baron's daughter to marry him before the empress... or at all! Realistically, the heir to a duchy would be engaged to someone of at least a Marquis rank. Maybe a count if the noble house is exceptionally notable or has royal blood. Honestly, given that he's been a genius recognized since birth, they'd never give him such a minor random woman as his fiance. If they had shown us a childhood friend backstory, maybe.... but she just seems useless and irrelevant to the story. Nothing would change if she was removed. They should have started with the empress, and then when he hits puberty, his female peers begin to notice him. It just doesn't make sense doing this all backwards.
