Doing a good deed with an motive cancels out the good deed.
That girl is probably doing good things so that she have a better life in her next life or doing something good while looking down on the person she's doing good for. Those things are a plus negative. She even walked right by the old lady who looks lost. So it's no wonder her score doesn't increase, she's doing good for the wrong reasons.

This is silly, nobility ranks mean something also because they come with responsibilities. If they just get a free nobility rank, they don't have a reason to stay, so they will more likely take advantage of the situation, get their rank and move out with the extra bragging rights, until too many of them have it and it doesn't mean anything.

But hey, this isn't a realistic manga so surely they will be like "oh yes great idea, now I'll also do good deeds!"

I don't recall the exact chapter, but I do remember the general story beats I think? It was something along the lines of "some bad evil dude forced her to suffer for practically all eternity or something, so after she was freed the angels and heaven decided her next life deserved to be SS rank. But the only possible way for her to have an SS rank life is if her next life is as the daughter of SSS rank MC. She's not his daughter yet, but it's already decided that once he does the deed and DOES have a kid, she'll be reincarnated as his kid. But until that time be does have a kid and she's about to be born, she doesn't really have anywhere to go so I guess she can kinda just stick around MC?" Or something along those lines, I believe?

He's not giving them out for free, he said it's for merchants to actually bring industry to his city that's literally got built not too long ago. He need merchants to stay and the thought of being made into a noble if they contribute to the flow of business in his new city by doing what they would do anyway is an attractive offer for them.

As for the good deeds, I don't know how but you got nobility rank and the soul rank confused even though they literally re-explained why soul ranks are important and what it does for people.

It's been stupid lol, he was already warned that to ensure balance they need to have both good people and evil people, those with high ranks and those with low ranks but he's still raising everyone scores to insane heights where ranks like A which were rare are now becoming commonplace.
