I honestly would've preferred if we started to the point where they dont know each other yet and we will watch them find out and recognize each other eventually... kinda like what last chapter did a bit...

1st class and 7th class, it's gonna be a wild ride.

Delinquent and a servant attitude, girl hit a jackpot, why to complain.

See, that's the thing with these stories. She's a princess and he's a commoner, but there's nothing stopping them from having had a passionate affair aside from the author making this too cutesy for real life. Plenty of high status women have fucked around through the centuries.

It was romanticised and fabled, unfortunately, especially in Europe during Christianity.
Best case scenario would be her loosing her status and exile, usually they vanish to save family face.
But there were some rare cases, their probability to be fully true though is questionable.

You know, patriarchal society.

Although, other cultures...

I'm not saying it would've been smart of her or that there wouldn't be any risk, but there's a bit of confirmation bias regarding ancient affairs. Affairs that we know happened, and the ramifications, have an indelible impact on our collective conscious, however the affairs that were never caught would only be speculated about. A famous one, unconfirmed to this day but with too much circumstantial evidence to dismiss, is Queen Victoria, who somehow managed to pass on hemophilia to a handful of her children when her husband was unlikely to have carried the gene for it as there was no family history. The likely story behind that is that she had a hidden lover who carried the gene.

Exception doesn't demonstrate the rule.
Affairs happened but given severe repercussions were a rarity.
