I wanna say yes but I think that's different when it comes to gender. BL only affects men. Trans and cis men. I think that it must be different if you become a transwoman. My theory is that the BL world does not affect women

I think it still follows the law of "are you a main character?" A random trans woman isn't a man, this she's never going to be a main character in a BL. And a background character is so in the... Background that no one would notice one more lady instead of a guy

Depends how the author feels about trans ppl, since "traps"/crossdressers exist in this universe, while there are some ppl that like wearing skirts and still seeing themselves as men, there aren't a lot of BL(well, i haven't gone outta my way to look for it), cept maybe the auto-biographical ones written by gay authors themselves or knowing trans ppl and telling their stories, that also have trans/nb charas done in a respectable way

(if the 'world' is determined to make MC gay , the best he can hope for is a 'crossdresser with huge fake boobs' or so, tho i believe he got a bf briefly in the live action? [some of the comedy might work in an anime, but the 'fighting all the tropes' as a live action actor could probably come off as repressed internalized homophobia if someone didn't know that the manga existed before watching it lol])

He actually does straight up fall in love with the guy and fulfils the tropes by, I think, confessing in the pouring rain? (Which low-key I really want to see happen here)
