@illusion_moon I was thinking the same thing! I had to go back to check if it was them. Wrong names but their design does look like them! Maybe it's a reference?

@pink_rabbit To be honest, I am not sure if it is a reference or not. It is possible that the cunning bad-boy and stupid gullible guy pairing is common enough. The other chapters seem to be generic BL settings that may apply to a lot of BL manga.

I also went back to check. Even though the names are not the same, they look amazingly like the other pair that it might be easier to list the ways they are different.

Now I have the urge to read Obaka-kun again. I wish it were a little longer. I would have loved to see them going on a normal date for once.
