They've given one guy a look into the future so far and that's the main cause of all the trouble they're having. Can't imagine any of them would be too excited to do it again.

Can't they just like give the Emp some history textbooks or smt?
Would it change anything? In 45 it was obvious Japan was defeated to everyone with a brain, only the drunk on "honor" suicidal part of the Military wanted to continue and even then there was an attempt to prevent peace through a coup.
In 1943 I imagine that the Army especially, still thinks that there can be a negotiated victory and they would oppose any peace.
They wouldn't just end it, because the Emperor wants it to end, remember that the Army and Navy have been operating independitly of the civil government in Tokyo for a looong time at this point.

I imagine the Emp is worry abt how JP will be treated after surrendering and what his army and navy would do IF he told them to surrender. They operated independently yes, but always with a fig leaf of obeying the Emp's will, just imagine if he did his broadcast in 43.

I mean part of the IRL coup was preventing that speech from being broadcasted IIRC, just succeed at that and the fig leaf stays in place. Even if you fail, if the Army is still united on figthing on, you could come up with tons of excuses why you don't follow the speech, starting with the good old "he went insane" statement.
I think, we actually don't even know if the Emperor knows about Mirai and how much.

But all I am saying is bascially: It's not as easy as handing the emperor a book.
