The shift to a significantly more serious tone is jarring with the still cutesy artstyle. Kinda reminds me of Everything is Fine.

there is a bit of a turning point here but i promise the cutesy stuff will be back soon. also, we've had proper story arcs since chapter 6, so i'm not really sure why it's labeled as slice of life (it's labeled that way in ganma too don't blame me )
