Nah, the kid's like 1/4 zombie or something, so it makes sense that they're not completely normal. Maybe being quiet / less active as a baby is an evolutionary survival feature for the new world.

I mean I can still be wrong but please keep this going I'd at least love to see the proper conclusion with smart-Z and the zombie girl of the subway.
