[Headcanon Stuff]
I have this headcanon that Tokiko's mind was never scrambled nor erased after turning into a zombie. She's just hobbling around as a lifeless immortal who somehow got into Takemura's hands... and binds.
He was forceful, immoral, and lewd as f*ck, but was also kind enough to "take care" of her and keep her - a grotesque zombie - clean every day. The sessions also unironically gave her enough sustenance to not crave for human flesh and, surprisingly, helped with her gradual neurogenesis. It's boring whenever she's alone, just tied up in their room. But in return she has slowly gained bits of knowledge about the apocalypse every afternoon as he mulled over his daily plans. And for a lady with no "experience", the (admittedly rapey) segg sessions were an exciting... nightly... occasion. She can't get pregnant anymore, plus being deflowered didn't hurt at all with her already desecrated body, so the all-encompassing warmth is a welcome treat... despite such warmth coming from her newfound friend playing with her belly button, from the inside, quite vigorously. In spite of it all... times were fun, and she kind of missed whatever stimulation she had.
So it was a miracle when she saw him come back to her place, after assuming that he just left her tied up in the bedroom to rot. Plus, her craving for the "things" she got used to doing with him made her act so proactively towards him. She still can't talk or act human, but she can perform more complex movements now. That was extra apparent in him being surprised at her full-body ice cream taste testing and expert mouth schlicking.
They had a nice time together, and she had gotten rather fond of him in the end. And in her perspective, the parka was the final straw for her assumption: that Takemura thought of her more than just a cold fleshlight... so much more.
Companionship. With a tiny bit of affection. She still can't talk nor act human in her state, but that did not stop her from chasing after him as he started his bike. He was going away again, and chances are that this is truly farewell. But she only wished to see him just a bit more... just a while longer.
The tapping of footsteps mix with the rumbling of his bike. He has changed, it looks like. Much kinder, and more determined. Maybe he has found something to fight for. Perhaps she already knew. Maybe it's only natural, then, that he leaves this place and its half-sentient caretaker. Best not to hold back the one who still has a future ahead of them. Not to mention the parka she now wears is a warm reminder of the time they had spent together. It was kinky, and c*m was all over the place, but who tf cares, it was all right. It was her first, and her only. It was already more than she had hoped for, topped off with a memento solidifying his existence in her immortal unbeating heart... for her own tiny version of eternity. So in a long moment she stares out to Takemura as he drives into the sunset, disappearing in the city-filled horizon, before finally walking back home.
Anyway...
Best girl Tokiko-chan lmao
