An old chinese tv series used that title for their adaptation of pu songling's stories, maybe the translator got it from that.....
I'm kinda curious cause while these stories do involve monsters n' gods and whatnot the monsters weren't always evil and if anything the humans were at times.....so were the good monsters sealed up too?
