Yeah, that's always an issue with automatic barriers. I guess a system that lets you freely adjust the threshold velocity would be OP.

I already able to smell the angst from The Shepherd. Something in "i were believing in you" yadda yadda.

Also these last few chapters makes me suspect that Maj. Kogure actual goal from beginning is to destroy this wanzer and he already know Shin is its pilot.

Even if tech is really advanced in this verse... I don't think they have a way to equip a wanzer with the processing power to do something like that.

If they tried I think the thing would have an absurd lag between other functions, at least at this point in time, can't say they won't find a way.
