To the contrary, the MC was smart enough to actually go to the trouble of smashing all the magic crystals, despite the risk of delaying her escape from the crime scene. She was just unfortunate that she missed a piece of crystal when it bounced off. See c1p22.

He commented that the appraisal is an estimate based on the user's knowledge. IE: He didn't know her name or her actual gender so he assumed she was a male. his probably said "Boy (male)"
Alicia on the other hand knows this information so it would just show up for her. "Alicia (female)"
