Just a fractured shoulderbone shouldn't need a long time to heal. Depending on the severity of the fracture, it could get healed in just few weeks. It'd be even faster with proper diet.

Muscle damage may need a year of extensive rest, and nerve damage may never heal. But it wasn't mentioned anywhere, and MC only dabbled in medicinal herbs, so I think Arnin didn't have those.
