This backstory works for me. It makes sense that Dylan would want to not have his own kids, to stop what he thinks is blood. Instead he needs to see that it's a choice to act that way.
And of course, who's acting the most? Our lovely sweet Avril.
This chapter really seals the ship for me. It got me a lot more excited.

more like the person who bought that necklace has higher or similar status as the duke.

We still didn't know who bought it since FMC went back right away to buy it back in secret but "certain someone else" already bought it. if there's no new character involved then most likely the buyer is crown prince or his fiance(the genius girl with gorilla hand grip)
