I imagine he's "a bit of everything" teacher. My grade school was all tables and chairs, but I remembered that we did a variety of things in the year -- learned about the heart (did a lamb's heart dissection even), did a report in cursive...on chimpanzees, and even learned, in a rudimentary way by using centimeter cubes, that California & Japan both have about the same land mass.

Editing for clarity: These specifically happened in 4th grade, which I thought that I had written in, but I guess that slipped...

not just job market. Until only a short while ago even school children had to dye their hair black to not distract the other pupils with garrish colors like dark brown.

(take a wild guess why so many Isekai stories mention that black is rare hair color in the fantasy world)
