Tbh, Moka didn't handle it in the best way either. I can understand her wanting to keep her gift for him a secret until the day of his birthday to make a surprise, but she didn't have to tell him: "What I do is none of your business!". That clearly hurt the guy, and I can understand why it did. Imagine the girl you love, who you've been getting close to for at least 3 months by now (since they had their math midterms the last chapter), suddenly saying that to you. But yeah, Tsukune did let his emotions get the better of him here.
