Actually? Kinda is. This is such an interesting series on several avenues. On the one hand you've got a single mom struggling to get shit done with such a young child, and on the other you've got a good person who has given up on life and is self destructing. Beyond that you've got an ADULT woman and a MAN CHILD, both of which can support each other in unique ways. She needs a house husband, and he needs someone to parent him.

I'm sure the lower than avg rating is because of his manwhore behavior, and the quirky comedy/pacing, but so long as the backstories aren't purely garbage, this series has huge potential for me. Also it's only like a 5 year age gap, which is nice.

Was never really sure why women fall for fixer up type of guys lol. Manwhore's I totally understand, but fixer up kind of guys are so toxic and life leeching. Also it's sooooooo weird for the female mc to even consider homeboy to be a kind person lmao. Let's list all the crazy shit we learn about him below.

Cons
-he got held back a year in college
-he misses classes for sex (my man)
-he doesn't have any shame engaging in lewd acts in front of a minor
-gets wasted from Friday night till Saturday mornings
-has zero shame being drunk around a child
-despite his roommate letting him leech off of him he refuses to listen to him
-he casually tells the female mc if he runs out of money he'll just engage in illegal acts
-He then brazenly tells her she should save him and implies that if she doesn't her daughter would be sad (manipulative)
-he also tells her that before she showed up he already gave up (LMAO)

Pros
He makes a killer Omurice and Rice Porridge.

Anybutt I'm rating it a smexy 1 outta 10 but I'm not gonna lie I am SO FUDGING curious what his sad Naruto swing backstory could be.
