Chapters may only be split into parts if the source material was also split in the same way. Chapters that have been split up by the scanlators for any other reason may be recombined into singular whole chapters.
The way I understand it, it might have more to do with his presence period. Him and his mom had been jumping around people houses and these other people were doing a favor for them. They didn't want to see a mom and kid on the street because they would feel bad, but they aren't necessarily happy with them there either. It's an appearance thing. If he shows himself it reminds them of this situation they aren't pleased by, even if he's behaving well. Behaving well could've made them feel guilty for not liking him being there, and who likes feeling guilty? By doing nothing, essentially being invisible, he allowed the host families to pretend that everything is normal.I don't see why anyone he stayed with hated him for behaving well.

That's just how I read the situation.
I’m not the uploader but huh I didn’t know that it worked that way, I always assumed most of the .1 chapters were split up by tl groupsReminder of Rule 3.2.2:
Idk, people in general don't like other people living in their house, especially if they aren't particularly close. I don't get why they would hate him more for behaving good as opposed to behaving bad, maybe if he behaved poorly they wouldn't feel as bad for disliking his presence? So that ironically leads to more hate?I don't see why anyone he stayed with hated him for behaving well.
