From this chapter I only realized that the Elf recognized Ji Bai as Bai Ji. Much later in the story Bai Jin (or Ji Bai) also want to return to Bai Ji originally which makes no sense because she could just skip everything and return to vampire body.
What's even funnier later it seems Bai Ji body completely deleted out of the story leaving Bai Jin (Bai Ming) the only choice left Ji Bai had until even much more ridiculous twist later. Even by reading extras I didn't understand a shit.

That was a bit confusing. "Ji Bai" is the knight MC. "Bai Ji" is the vampire girl MC. In this case, Elf seems to be unaware of Bai Ji, she only recognizes MC as "Ji Bai" -- because she marked Ji Bai earlier. And the comment about MCs acting might be because MC is expressing Bai Ji's personality, not Ji Bai's personality.

As for future developments... Based on recent discussion, I'm now mentally prepared for an eventual multi-shark jump.

It's funny that the original reason for Ji Bai's conflict with Ji Yue's family was Ji Yue potentially developing a romantic interest in him when they needed her to marry a descendant of one of three specific clans and after all this time it turns out Ji Bai was one such descendant all this time.
