Wouldn't it just be 'Shinohara'? As far as I understand, the 「家」 was just added to show that it's their families discussing the trip, not only Daiki and Wakaba. Note how Wakaba's name also has the same kanji attached to it in the same panel, as in 'Shinohara-chi' and 'Saejima-chi'.

I've seen this name as 'Shinohara' before so I just assumed, but since there are no other clues in this chapter, I guess the others shouldn't be ruled out yet.

Where did you see it as Shinohara? I skimmed the other chapters but never saw it. You could very well be right.
