That was a move made out of exasperation. Eri told Fuyuki exactly how she feels about her and what she wants their relationship to be. That's when Fuyuki realized that the two of them will never understand each other, and that their relationship will never be a romantic one. Fuyuki then goes on to think she was wrong to ever get her hopes up.
