The pattern of the carpet
"did not connect" as it should (as I would have expected it), but it's not a bother, not really detectable if not zoomed in.
My guess is that the carpet's patter was drawn on each page separately, after the spread was split.
Joined spread of page 61-62:
Again, it does not connect perfectly... The visible line at the bottom comes from the left side of the right (61th) page. The connection above the dragon's neck along the wall is also ... minimally awkward...
My guess is, that most probably the raw was literally scanned from paper.
