Losing intrest in this. Story is hardly going anywhere. Do not care for any of these side characters.

I care about the side characters, but getting blue balled on the main plot is frustrating especially with the release schedule
(note: I'm assuming we're waiting on raws; if that's just SL pacing than never mind)
Plus they had the absolute shittiest cop out. "Answer a bunch of shit from the mystery woman from my childhood? No no I feel like that would wrap up this story too quickly".

For every type of a special BB he finds (I think orange) she'll answer one question about herself for this resume/profile thing he is filling out. IIRC she said or implied if he fills it out completely, they'll go to the bone zone.

Okay so. If you've ever attempted writing. You'll know how easy it is to get bored. The characters you wrote, the things they do, the entire plot. So to keep it interesting for yourself you start sidetracking, new characters, new themes, etc.

I see this many times in manga, can't really tell if this is the case or not here. Author already tried addressing "difficult" topics before but now it's becoming the main theme and not just single part of the story.

Can we get to the character that is literally in the title please?

I always thought the BBs might be a type of rock or something. But seriously the mystery of what the hell BBs are has been bugging me since I picked up reading this series a few months back. As anyone got a real clue?

Other than that this series never fails to entertain and keep me gripped.

What doesn't help is that reading the letter will advance the plot and most likely finish the story. And we have about 2 more books to cover. So, I guessing a lot of waffling on the main guy's part. Probably going to jump ship myself.

Everyone of his childhood friends was some "difficult" topic and with the way the story is framed you could see their circumstances change (or not in Miki's case) over time. I presume after reminiscing about the past in his hometown and not getting anywhere meeting with senpai will be the next excuse to continue his search. Maybe Senpai remembers more or even kept in contact with Asako longer, because of the nature of this one.

Obviously everyone who has a job like YT tries to make sure they look like they're in a good mood, but Senpai looks happier. That's nice. The parallel between her and Asako as lost/missed connections for Saya and Masa is pretty obvious, but I wonder if she's had more recent interaction with Asako given the severity of her situation? If Masa reaches out to her that'd make sense as a segue into the reunion since I know there's much more behind us than ahead of us at this point.

Also: Miho says she and Hikarin (who we are assuming to be Fujimura-senpai) were classmates and Masa says she's from a town close to his hometown, so did Senpai's family move at some point or were these just small enough places that someone would conceivably go to town somewhere else? I don't have a hard time believing Masa just wouldn't have ever met Miho until they were both adults especially if she's a little older than him like this implies, I'm just bad at geography.

More importantly, thanks for the chapter!
