that's the problem with getting 3/5 pages of content every now and then, that make the story feel like it's progressing slowly when, in fact, if you realize all in all, we're "only" at 250 pages which is what, 1 volume/1 volume and a half nowaday. So maybe if you read all in one go, it's not that slow.

Plus this is basically a webcomic, they can easily go for thousands and thousands of pages, years of content.

As for the plot, so all this current flashback was so pink hair finally understood her feelings about black hair, plus not feel negative about red hair getting dicked? It's how I'm understanding it since I barely remember anything.

This series is some kind of perfect storm for the most confusing thing imaginable - a couple of pages at a time, released somewhat infrequently, characters have incomprehensible motivations and thought processes, and to top it off the translation we get is slightly subpar (not trying to be mean, and I'm thankful for all the translations we have gotten and are getting, but I think the phrasing in most chapters is consistently very dodgy - but I'm guessing the original material doesn't help, I don't know Japanese but I can believe that this is probably harder to translate than your average manga due to how esoteric the discussions can be in this).

It coasted through life with the first approximately 100 pages of ok content and decided to bottle harder than Arsenal. Everything went downhill since Nobra-I mean nobara came in. ONE character ruined the story because the author wanted her to be the main rival Julie has to overcome and decided to do that by dumping an entire landfill worth of exposition while shoving the main story aside. Great.

Man reading this on a binge after a while of not reading, you guys were really are complaining about the moment to moment situation when this whole segment in full has been very good. I think when doing a drip feed release like this, people can sometimes get lost in the process of like the moment to moment, and forget a lot of the grand idea of things. This chapter specially, it really hits me with the showcase of how she finally realized how much self hatred she held over all these years. This has been a really good ride and this segment of the story has been great

It marks the turning point from "yay cute cartoon girls, sparkly yuri fantasy!" To "Love is just love, and lesbian love is just as real as straight love."

A lot of the earlier commenters scare me with their lack of reading comprehension. They whine and whine and whine about how the entire comic uses single-page chapters, yet they somehow can't even go back and re-read those single pages in order to get an accurate picture of the plot, when they fail to understand it.

I really liked this arc, it adds a lot of depth to all the characters appearing in it and carries the central theme of "Prejudices based solely on surface appearances will see you miss the big picture". And, ironically, all these whiners up above only look at the single pages of the story and judge it solely off of what they see before them, rather than the bigger picture the combined chapters up to now forms. It's apt, but tragic that the depiction hasn't been idiot-proofed. The people that most need to understand the message in this arc, completely fail to grasp it in the end.
