I would not call this a no progress manga to be honest, it's having a nice progress to it.
Maybe I am just used to mangas having it worse

The downside of reading as it’s released. We’re in volume 4 of the (future) tankobon release, with presumably 6 chapters per volume, which makes this not just a cliffhanger for us, but for the physical relases as well.
That being said, resolving at least a major point within four volumes is… well, not quick, but, glancing at other manga, it could be soo much worse.
