She was able to give an understandable hint to her, but in a polite and roundabout way that wouldn't damage her pride. A+ Parenting job. Teaching a lesson, but making the student work just enough to come to the conclusion themselves that it's more likely to stick.

The barrier mage and his maid work so well together as characters. Truly the tried and true method works wonders, pairing someone overconfident with somebody to point out their each and every flaw or mistake. It's incredible how well this formula works, being able to have such a character be not only not obnoxious, but somewhat likeable as well. Banger chapter as always.
