Yep. That is the whole plan. Anybody who has worked in food service will have seen this kind of asshole a lot. What exactly was that customers gameplan there? Grab her wrist and force her to write her email? Beat up another customer and then go about his day?
Is it the N wordwork wasn't the main reason they divorced.
But like, in what world does this ever work? Is this the first time he's trying this? Or is he just tanking the ass kicking at every restaurant he tries this at and going "next time for sure!"Yep. That is the whole plan. Anybody who has worked in food service will have seen this kind of asshole a lot.

Sure, but also… they don’t have those issues. They cleared love each other, always have, and got frustrated from no-contact. The issue was them spending time apart, not the other way around. Both of them have stated (in their internal dialogue) a belief “they” are the issue and their spouse was acting understandably. They each think they are the issue, so… literally one good conversation resolves this for them.I disagree
Normally you would be right, but I have seen couples that against reason stuck together, cases where they would have worked as friends or should have not stuck together, couples where they still did nice things to each other, but it was mostly shouting matches and too much stress.

Their case is not as dramatic, but they are also afraid of letting their nostalgia cloud their judgment and to repeat the same mistakes again.
Perhaps you are right, I'll re-read the chapters and think about it again.Sure, but also… they don’t have those issues. They cleared love each other, always have, and got frustrated from no-contact. uuuhh possible backstory/truth reveal sometime?Unfortunately for some of us bitcoin wasn't around until we were far into adulthood. Things were not so easy back then. I don't actually know how I could've bought stocks as a teen. You'd need to be lucky enough to be born into the right household, and for your parents to trust you enough to give you that kind of autonomy at that age.
I read the web novel a while back and work wasn't the main reason they divorced.
I remember there was something that ruined the trust in their relationship. "Work" was just the cherry on top.
