I don’t ship anything or react to romance too much in series I read, but my god why does the art direction for chapter 20 oozes sexual tension? They’re supposed to be fighting but the vibes scream that the Hero wants dudes other “sword” the whole time 🫢

Anyone know what happened? Mangaka got into accident and they had to hire a new one?
Or some money dispute and they hired cheaper one?

Yeah, have to agree w/ sean, art just doesn't fit the characters properly. -- Especially some of the expressions / faces.

This is good...until chapter 20. The artists change is too much (for me, at least). I think this is why despite how good the story is, it has less than an 8 star rating. The main character's look changes completely, and the vibe just gets fucked. He loses his coolness, and the way the villagers tall to him in chapter 21 and the way he responds just reads as a completely different character. You can assume it ends at chapter 20 though, since it is a bit of a nice cut off point romantically.

he becomes a hero and Goes Their Own Way and becomes powerful. at least he isnt god in the first two seconds, but just by existing he becomes stronger and everyone (including himself, with flawed moral messaging) sucks him off for it
