So just straight up a straightforward Hero job. Not some alternate job, not some meta job, just a very classical "The Hero is the strongest job, period." kind of setting. Okay.
Also I see the MC's ego is going to go pretty much unchecked. There is some chance this MC might become relatively insufferable and despite the ten day journey to cool off his head, it still seems like he's in the mindset of this is a game world before it being a real world inhabited by real people. Doubt that'll come up in an important manner though since this is going for the tongue in cheek lighthearted tone.

Actually, I find it interesting because of how generic it is. For a long time, the overwhelmingly popular trope has been to give the protagonist a class deemed utterly worthless, only for it to turn out overpowered later (usually with people mocking them first). Alternatively, they're stuck with a weak class but have conditions that let them grow stronger over time.

I'm not quite sure I understand correctly? Does he have have a month to complete the Hero job conditions lest he fail? In that case, with those conditions, it would be just too easy for someone to sabotage him...

From what I understand, he has already met the conditions and received the job. The one-month period is for those who didn’t get the job they wanted, giving them extra time to try again.
But again, this is just how I understand it, not sure if that's correct.

Also, I feel this is missing a harem tag since he already has childhood friend, the cover character, and probably principal's granddaughter. Not to mention random girl says he can have a harem so can't be impossible.

Man, it's SO refreshing that he doesn't pick a class that is wrongfully considered terrible and we spend the entire manga "proving everyone wrong" while being mistreated all the while
