All of the effort in this went into first few chapters, it's a generic copy paste power fantasy and the art was bad yet charming and yet somehow it managed to get worse the in every aspect after it established the premise.

The manga is enjoyable until chapter 9 with the original art style. Then from chapter 10 onward with the change in art style and writing direction is just another copy paste from generic super strong protagonist and harem manga.
they also skipped that 40,000 thousand years in the dungeon and now there are a bunch of new characters I don't even know is their a novel or anything ?

after chapter 9 I instantly got sad it turned into a genric artstyle manga and it also feels like they skipped a huge amount.

it was good but the art style changes and with it the entire vibe. At first we get a focused MC who get's stronger through sheer force and good ol' practice. an insane amount of practice i mean it's in the title 100,000 years (and 7 days) of practice and is only barely able to hold onto his sanity after all that time because the dungeon helps him out. The MC rediscovering himself in the dungeon was a very interesting plot point. then when he leaves the dungeon the art work changes. the previous art placed A LOT of emphasis on facial expressions, not so much in the new art. they also did away with the gore so now it's a lot more lighthearted and less grimy. it's alright but i liked it better before.

This manga is fine, I've read up to the 16 chapters that are out now and the MC kills people fine and isn't lame about it and he's OP now and he deals with shit in a correct manner, like he doesn't just kill for the sake of killing and he lets other people get stronger instead of just dealing with stuff on his own right away, and the art change after chapter 10 is fine to me I don't really mind it. This manga isn't that exciting but it's fine to read, I don't think it's bad. But there are sure a lot of people complaining about it so don't mind those hoes and just read it.

Title should’ve been “Dungeon training to be a cheap Overlord-ripoff power fantasy” :/
Power fantasies are fine as long as they're well executed and show more depth than whatever this is. I'm sure the Web Novel version is better but probably only marginally so, the premise is sort of interesting but it loses weight the way it just skips over several encounters and literally tens of thousands of years to "Oh we're out of the dungeon lol". Then none of the characters ask themselves wtf happened to MC and why he's so OP even though 5 minutes ago he was pathetic trash getting bullied (😬). Except for that one other commenter obviously coping about the stinking pile of trash this story is this is really just poorly written and the characters have zero depth whatsoever.

DONT READ, since it might contain light spoilers. (Till chapter 16)

I was intrigued by reading some of the comments and decided to read and judge for myself how drastic the art changes were. People here are spot on, the new art is horrible. It is so generic and lame.

Now, the other big problem is the writing and not the art.
Since this has a novel, it feels even weirder
In chapter 9, MC is shown to be struggling & suffering from being stuck in that cave/dungeon and telling the loli dragon he will always be with her.

In chapter 10, they came out suddenly with a suit-wearing Elf. What happened? How did you clear that place??
MC becoming budget Kirito -_-

Then MC shoving his budget-kirito-giga-chad-dick to floor all em enemy fodder.
No one asks why the most incompetent trash in the world becomes so competent. The princess's character changes completely, like who are you, girl?

The most infuriating thing was when the princess appointed MC to be her 'royal dog'. The MC Former-Trash, why do you accept?
Why will you protect her until she gets another 'dog'?

Sure, the excuse was given that he is doing it because the princess was nice to him. As well as his childhood friend being close to her. Nice reasoning, but it doesn't make sense with the former writing and MC's suffering.

I need some Light novel readers to verify if the story of the manga follows what happened in the Novel. Did this new artist change a lot of stuff? Or the new art is so lame that it made it even worse.

Why do I feel like, when this author was writing the novel, he had a dream? A dream of his light novel getting railed after chapter 9, and he thought, ehh, why bother writing anything good? Did his brain devolve into a toddler suffering from trauma?

I am yapping a lot for this plot, somehow looking at that art gave me expectation and made me curious where the writing will go when he leaves that place, and how his character will change. Oh well.

Meh. -_-

Hoes can be right sometimes O_O
I did start reading after I read your comment.
After finishing chapter 16
I became a Hoe.................... :worry:

Don't regret reading till chapter 9 though.

There are minor changes between the WN and manga. But they make it generic and cringy.

Is the MC still the princess's 'royal dog'?
I assume she is the FMC.
Did the WN have a part in their escaping the dungeon?
I mean, in chapter 10, they just come out nothing is explained.
