Like, narrative story telling aside with the rain symbolism/metaphor, you'd think a school would place a school festival on a day where it'd be sunny unless it was something unpredictable or they don't care as long as the festival is earlier but i wonder how many festivals have happened during a rainstorm at the start versus just rescheduling if it's all inside
Yeah expected it was going to do a "Wot if happy person become sad and sad person become happy" as its LiGhT/DaRk theme. Honestly also expect in 6-7 months after this arc we'll get a flashback where Yuu pushes Yami off of him but Hikari didn't see it.
But still, fuck this guy man.
At this point imagine if the author wrote/threw in a pregnancy scare on top of things lol
im praying hikari ditches the fuck out of yuu, hopinh author makes it so hikari finds a new guy and kisses him right in front of yuu, man he's so pathetic it makes me mad
Maybe b/c i moved away/was never rly close to anyone before i hit double digits, idk if i'd even wanna be friends again with some ppl, let alone dating, but i can't rly imagine how many irl childhood friendships work out as well, feels like it'd be too 'friend-cestuous' (not that it stops JP animanga with the stepsibling if not blood relatives but i guess that's a whole nother story), like how the stereotype of 'high school sweethearts getting married asap' not working out but no one really looks down as much on divorced ppl compared to JP where it might be more of a 'stigma'
I kinda half expect the author/artist to collab and release a new series during this that's actually wholesome/played straight without a similar 'twist' and just trolling the audience more
