Yeah as soon as I saw that the status had changed from ongoing to completed, I went to check the last few raws and it did feel rushed. Hopefully, the author is alright and this wasn't a health issue that caused them to stop so soon. Maybe it was axed, who knows !? I couldn't find any mention of it on the author's Twitter but it does say "latest chapter updated" on the Kingdom of Quartz's Twitter so I guess this really is the end 😮‍💨

In some cases, that means tagging a Japanese-written series as English or French, but in this case, that means tagging an English-written series as Japanese!

As such, your uses of “raw(s)” here to refer to the Japanese version, which is a translation (by M Fulcrum, as credited on the covers), are humorously wrong.

You know what, that's my bad. I did see that the author was I think Canadian so that's on me. I just felt kinda confused by the "abrupt" end of this manga, I didn't really stop to think about what I was writing. On comic-days, there are 42 chapters and I can't read Japanese but here it says it's completed so I was just wondering if it was supposed to be a short one or if it got cut short for some reason !? I just really thought this manga would be longer or at at least it felt like it was supposed to be longer.

The sole Amazon review of the final (Japanese) volume is negative and questions if the series was cancelled, so I'd imagine it probably was. Despite being written first, it'll be 2026 by the time Kodansha USA releases English Volume 5.
