Does anyone know where to read the novel with the latest chapter? Because the last time I saw the novel was still at chapter 224 and even then it was uploaded about a year ago. Or does anyone know the social media of the original author of the novel? Because I'm very curious about the continuation of the novel and wondering why there hasn't been an update for a year. I have searched for the author's social media but did not find it and I can only find the social media of the person who drew/illustrated the manga

Maybe it's on syosetsu? not sure if the author is continuing but considering theres a manga pickup/adaptation they'd have a decent amount done unless the author is working with a mangaka to do the full story in comic art versus just text

224 is more than i expected for a slice of life unless there's a timeskip/years worth of arcs to where Chibi would be like 14 or so by then XD i'd assume you could copy/paste the title in JP, but otherwise maybe its on hiatus but as far as i've seen there's no eng for the novel ver either

Maybe it has been published in Light Novel version (physical book release, with sometimes heavy editing and re-writing), some authors don't have time to continue to put up new webnovel chapters with all the rewriting of the LN and the different continuity between the 2 versions of the story.
