I personally don't know how to feel about this, I feel like having few more chapters about them would've helped it much more. Also the Yuri was much more of the old school "And then, there were two girls who vanished in the sunset" kind of love.
I know the ending is meant to be ambiguous. BUT PUTTING A FOCUS ON NOOSE DOES NOT KEEP IT SUBTLE AT ALL.

Yep, felt like a lot happened yet it ended half way. Nothing much changed from the start, both are still broken in different ways and solely the fact they left all behind dont particularly means it will all be good now.
Such an abrupt and weird way to end it.

She donated 720k yen in total, which is ~5k usd. However, good on the author for accounting for the cut youtube takes (30%), as 70% of 720k is 504k, and she had promised to pay 500k.

You got double suicide from the ending? Felt more like leaving their old unhappy lives behind to start a new one somewhere else. Which isn't overly uncommon for people to do. They were both unfulfilled and unhappy before finding each other, and now they're not.

Also got double suicide from it. The phrasing of "let me go with you", not "don't go". Also people who are suicidal sometimes paradoxically look happy right before they do it, because they feel things are finally ending.

I imagine the original story probably had more of the other woman's inner thoughts too rather than it being mostly from MC's perspective

i mean, unless there's a limit on Yt/streaming donations i don't think 300+ would be that much to donate all at once or so unless ppl think some ppl are doing money laundering through streaming XD (i would totally read a slice of life manga where a yakuza is a streamer/vtuber on the side tho XD)

I'm not getting double suicide from this either tbh. One of them isn't suicidal, they're both wandering off into some new, far place while ditching everything behind, and there's the whole whole speech about making summer last forever to keep her alive because they care about each other.

If they were both going to commit they could do it then and there, I don't think they cared that much about making it a grand exit judging by the noose in the apartment.
