ok so I'm a bit confused, why is she so sure that the assassins are sent by the prince?
From the first chapter it was quite clear that she did indeed act like a typical villainess and not realizing how haughty/selfish she is so it does explain why the prince would expel her/cancel the engagement with her, but why is she so SURE that the prince wants her dead???

She's sure because her death has no value to anyone else.

But the prince (and/or Aurora, unclear who) want her dead so she can't do anything in retaliation.

It does make sense.

There could still be a plot twist, like her own parents want her dead to wipe away the stain from their family honor or something, but she is guessing what is most logical.

The wolf girl was being kinda brutal to her so i was about to drop this, but i like this direction! I'm also confused as to why the wolf girl is acting so differenctly from the previous chapeters but sure!

Does she seems to have been a bitch? Yes. But I also think a lot of her behaviour comes from parental neglect — we saw how her poor sick younger sister was doted on by the parents while she had to cast aside all her desires for the sake of acting dutiful. If in her head all the villainess-esque behaviour is justified — mainly being harsh on others, I’m not so sure about the “building good relations with other nobles and striving to be beautiful and have a lot of accessories” because let’s be real this is probably what she was taught to do.

My theory is that while Karina was so focused on being the perfect image of a future queen, albeit not really in the right way, her so called innocent (and unburdened by not being the first child) little sister swooped in and built good relations with the prince — or outright fucking flirted with him because I wouldn’t really put pass a spoiled brat to want to steal her sister’s fiance because she thinks she’s entitled to whatever she wants.

I think it’s a case of Karina being rotten because of her environment and how people in her close proximity treated her, specially family. Now that she has a lapdog for a wife, who sees the good in her, she’ll eventually change her ways and not really plot to cause a Civil War in the kingdom. I don’t know how well populated the north is — she mentioned a town but I’d think that’s it — but she could maybe lead a separatist movement so the cold land were the wifey’s tribe lives is not longer part of that kingdom. TAKE SIBERIA AWAY FROM RUSSIA!! type of energy.

Anyways I hope the endgame is her enjoying sesbian lex with her powerful beastgirlfriend and forgetting all about the family that didn’t love her. >Someone< needs to get the wolfgirl pregnant so the tribe leaders can have a bunch of hybrid descendants, she needs to FOCUS ON WHAT MATTERS!!! which is wpreg
