The pacing of this series feels like complete trash in recent chapters. How troubling.
She reveals she's alive, she KNOWS what that crummy former "Father in Law" of hers and the POS "ex" would do now that they THINK she's dead, and waiting this long was meant to HUMILATE them because they were so sure she was dead and can FORGET her as they erase her and think "everything is going well for them! Prince Charmless ESPECIALLY!"That was her big revenge? Wrecking the church and stealing the ring? I thought she was going to conquer the entire country with an army of beastmen.
The series is doing great over in Japan. This chapter made me lose complete interest in the story
practically the ONLY good ch was ch 1
like isn't it crazy how you have 2 interesting designed characters aka MC and her wife
and for several chapters you don't show them AT ALL but instead you show OTHER characters MIND you we ONLY have 11 chapters
and when she FINALLY shows up for revenge, no one dies............
this shit SMELLS of being axed before ch 20 and its hilarious![]()
She isn't and story doesn't even fit this anyway. Karina "used" wolf princess? How? She didn't kill anyone, she didn't used the tribe as an army or anything. Wolf just screamed at a cathedral, carried Karina inside then carried her out. It hardly counts as "used" in any meaningful way. I don't think Wolf is psychopathic enough to just kill her over something this simple. It's kind of bold to assume the wolf girl would kill karina if she doesn't love her back.
We don't know that much about her but she doesn't strike me as a kill someone for "not loving me back," kind of character.
Now she'll probably be pissed that karina lied to her. Wolfie getting used and then told later that karina doesn't actually love her or want to be with her will hurt fr. I don't see the wolf wanting to kill karina over it though.
I also want to believe that wolfie isn't trying to just recreate a story. She actually likes karina. You don't kill someone you like for not liking you back. Karina did use the wolf for her revenge but idk if that's a great reason to kill someone either. It just doesn't seem like a logical path the wolf would take.
All that said, I have a terrible memory and can't remember if the cute wolf girl is actually unhinged in any way.
Agreed. I think the REAL hate is the long ass update timing which can KILL the pacing (If you are a ONE Piece fan or hell a Dragon Ball, you know how it is)The series is doing great over in Japan.
People saying "I don't like this story therefore it must be getting axed" really are something, though.
Do you have any data on that? The series is doing great over in Japan.
It's still a weak attempt at revenge because it hinges on the Prince self-destructing upon her being alive. But there's a significant issue with that; the first is the Karina's sister. She shown to have the capacity to manipulate the prince to an extent, just like how she convinced the prince to let her handle Karina when the Prince had opted to bring an army against her. And what did Aurora do instead? She brought new servants and furnishings and redecorated the place where Karina was meant to stay. Prince Charmless ESPECIALLY!"
By revealing herself ALIVE, it ruins "their peace of mind" since she wrecked the wedding, stole the "Royal Ring of the Queen" and jut WALKED out (well bridal carried out) without anyone being able to do ANYTHING! This is a HUGE Humiliation for the Royals that she was able to do that and Prince Charmless could do nothing but BARK like the Toothless Dog that he is! (Oh and ruin what should have been her sister's "perfect day!")
Revenge isn’t always about shedding the blood of those who wronged you. Sometimes the biggest revenge is spitting in their faces and take away their feeling of victory.
They all thought the "evil baddy Bad witch“ is dead and celebrated, only to find out she’s alive and kicking.
People are saying that the revenge was anti-climactic. And you’re right. It was. As horrible as Orlando has smeared her to be, she herself hasn’t killed anyone. There is a huge difference between wanting to kill someone, contemplating it, and ACTUALLY going through with it.
But that also doesn’t mean that the “revenge“ is over. Pulling at the fairytale thread we need a catalyst for Reshtoka to become suspicious of her true feelings. Karina has told her that the revenge is over, and they can now marry and put all of that behind them. But that image of her staring at the ring definitely screams that everything is not in fact behind them.
these beastkin, altho seem powerful, doesn't seem like the type of having a formal army at their disposal, like where are people getting the impression that they're just gonna march and murder everyone. my point is that they seem like very peaceful people(unless they're provoked).I thought she was going to conquer the entire country with an army of beastmen.
Tbf, Karina did mention using the beastkin as an army, and we saw in one of the previous chapters that she was using some of them as informants to gather information. So it's less of what the beastkin would normally do, and more about whether Karina has the influence to command them to such extent.these beastkin, altho seem powerful, doesn't seem like the type of having a formal army at their disposal, like where are people getting the impression that they're just gonna march and murder everyone. my point is that they seem like very peaceful people(unless they're provoked).
to me it feels like karina never complained openly about it, and if, let's say aurora, ever asked about it she would probably something like "i'm the eldest is okay" bc let's remember that Karina had been trying to live as the perfect lady her parents thought they were raising (and that's where most of her resentment comes from)It just feels like, ok, you stopped people from talking shit about her...years after it was actually relevant and her life was ruined.
thinking abt this, like we all know how everyone in court is an unreliable narrator when it comes to karina, but karina is also an unreliable narrator herself, she lived complacent of what was expected from her(until she was banished) for other people I.e Aurora, what she's doing does seems like madness bc it never seemed like she didn't like what she was doingyet has the gall to refer to Katrina's desire for revenge as "madness", and its the only things she has to say to her sister.
also that. I don't think that she being Reshutoka's mate would be enough for them to accept and go to war for her, at least not this quick.and more about whether Karina has the influence to command them to such extent.
