You know, I've spent actual money on this series. I've bought the official light novel translations and I watched the anime on CR. This is just one of those very solid and entertaining stories. It's not Revolutionary Girl Utena but not every show needs to be like that.

And season 2 being released exactly 1 year later is really quick, especially since there's a critical shortage of animators in Japan. This turnaround time is like something from the 2000s when we'd get a new season every year like clockwork.
