The first chapter did feel weird with how they were working together but played it off as Yuma working on her own manga while assisting Sayaka. But as stated above, the tip off was working on the cover page which should be done by the author but she seems to also be writing the story as well.

Now that my brain is on, her drawing porn is probably not going to go over well when her style is so distinct and recognizable and cause more problems than making her Mom feel weird.

Always sucks when friends turn out shitty

Tho given how “strict/overprotective” her mother is I’m surprised she was allowed to work on manga at all since those kinda parents would prolly look down on manga as a “career” though I guess her options are limited but it’s not like you need ur legs to do clerical office work but I can imagine “normal” office jobs not hiring disabled ppl even if a lot of those types of jobs are sitting at desks to begin with

I guess the editor has a problem with it but other than a super “unique” art style plenty of mangaka styles overlap so I wouldn’t think it’s too much of an issue versus plot/storytelling
