i think the reason he cant die is you cant defeat a RTS player by killing their command character (what mc is), and you need to topple his nation first
That makes sense, but if this player is the DM of a DND game, how are you going to kill him? Or is killing all the "PCs" enough?

I also don't really understand how Atou attacked the MC, is it Dominate Monster? I don't think Dominate Person would work since Atou, while being in humanoid shape, isn't a humanoid creature, right? And if it is Dominate Monster, then that's a pretty high-level party our MC is going up against.
And Atou failing the check is also a bit weird since, from all the DND stats, I would assume Wisdom would be her highest, but that's just me.

I have a feeling the upcoming anime adaptation's every episode will be just as edging as every chapter of this manga adaptation.

Thanks for the new chapter!

can you give me the spoiler of why didnt he? I've read way pass this point in the LN but I cant remember

I don't remember if mc had any combat ability, how is he dealing those monsters?

Funny enough, second post jogged my memory.

You even get hints throughout the chapter now that I reread, basically from the lore dump at the end and the discussion the saint was having, it’s just enough to piece together that Takuto has the ability to become his enemies, taking on their form and all abilities, so no he doesn’t have DIRECT combat abilities but like Atou can make use of others as well as evade the TTRPG almost omnipotent abilities by becoming other people. Basically he become John Carpenter’s “The Thing” and starts bumping characters off one by one. And that’s Not even a huge spoiler compared to the final fight.

Thank u always for ur great work...
^^...

So, if the enemy use the dice, then he only need to "choose" n "click" the menu to launch the available "command" to get the guaranteed succeed overruling the need to roll the dice?

I do remember how he won against the DM since that part was so good, but I still cant recall the surviving part explanation lol. It has something to do with him able to turn into the fire boss from the previous demon lord "game" they beat and use the fire to heal himself or something right?

I'm actually disappointed if this is the case, it doesn't really strike me as an ability an RTS game master would have...

If all of those things were indeed fatal but he did not die, and his HQ was destroyed, I presume he can not be defeated unless all his units are dead before him. He can rebuild his nation as long as there is one unit to his name, and has enough resources.
Reminds me of some C&C skirmishes where I had to explore the whole map to find THAT ONE LAST UNIT.

God dang. He truly does look like the king of all evil right now. It was definitely a great touch to only have the people who see his monsters for witness him this chapter.

Honestly, at this point I almost feel bad for the church nation. They just royally ticked off somebody That They never should’ve even tried to talk to.

Damn, Atou told them everything about Eternal Nations and his origins. This is a pretty big deal, until now the disymmetry of information and understanding of the setting was one of his biggest strength. No one before understood they were facing a force playing by different rules until it was too late.

Talking about Atou, I notice she's not been included in their little group. While she acknowledges how crazy strong she is, it seems she either doesn't trust her (or her control of her) to keep her around, or she had some important work for Atou elsewhere.

Its "persuasion" in the dumbest interpretation of it.

the ability of the guy who has the dnd power is he is a dm and can force a nat20. So they did a persuasion check to convert atou to their side. It changed her into an NPC on the "players" (his witch) side. Its bullshit stupid. Like yeah, a DM can let their players do stupid shit and get away with it but its such terrible DMing and it infuriates me. They nat20 the sneak to get to the camp too.
