What, did he survive and kill the monster because RTS player is not a "Player" and thus can't die and then abuse that ability to keep rolling the dice until he roll a good dice?

That makes sense, but if this player is the DM of a DND game, how are you going to kill him? Or is killing all the "PCs" enough?

I also don't really understand how Atou attacked the MC, is it Dominate Monster? I don't think Dominate Person would work since Atou, while being in humanoid shape, isn't a humanoid creature, right? And if it is Dominate Monster, then that's a pretty high-level party our MC is going up against.
And Atou failing the check is also a bit weird since, from all the DND stats, I would assume Wisdom would be her highest, but that's just me.
It's "DnD" but not really "DnD" you know, some rules can and probably will change for the sake of the plot. Also:
Someone explained it months ago (Can't find it to reread), I am paraphrasing so there can be some details off. Iirc she's not a DM, she's a player who can only roll 20s or something like that. I am pretty sure what she did was just a Charisma check to recruit Atou.

The reason is easy. You can read D&D rule that anything and monster can be an ally depending on the story and character.

Atou alignment is Evil and the witch is Evil...

This means the witch has an Alignment bonus in recruiting.

The problem with the previous attack that made Atou rebel is pretty simple based on the D&D rule.
1) They have not yet made Atou betray Takumi. They just recruited her and used her as a team member... This means Atou by D&D rule sees the witch as "Follow Takumi ally that needs help"

This happens a lot in D&D and Dungeon Master will be like
"Because you order Vampire A to kill his countess or his wife? He breaks up the party"

It never makes any sense in D&D rule to make an ally that did not swear betraying to attack their lord...

2) Like I said previously by RTS rule it was not possible to attack the leader anyway...

So there are so many impossibilities to make Atou kill Takumi at all. Unless they "cheating"

TBH there's a very juicy way to beat D&D now and that depend on Takumi's leader unit lore/backstory. I don't know much about this yet and man...

Depending on how he play he CAN easily beat the D&D guy... Since his RTS games sound very familiar to 40K universe leader...

And we all know how insane those folks are... The D&D people make an enemy they should never made with...

Originally for any RTS games the lore is just a wall of text of nothing...

But in D&D space that will be "law"

That smile at the end... Yep, he knows lol

The worst part for the D&D side is his "story" already fall in line with the isekai world too. The D&D cannot change this at all unless they rewrite the world's impossible history... Even ff you are a dungeon master...

Its "persuasion" in the dumbest interpretation of it.

the ability of the guy who has the dnd power is he is a dm and can force a nat20. So they did a persuasion check to convert atou to their side. It changed her into an NPC on the "players" (his witch) side. Its bullshit stupid. Like yeah, a DM can let their players do stupid shit and get away with it but its such terrible DMing and it infuriates me. They nat20 the sneak to get to the camp too.

Fr, any DM who runs games like that knows jackshit about the game rules...
