Honestly, the light novel for that one isn't that bad compared to other isekais (I know, not a high bar to pass). Don't know about the manga though.

Sometimes, a manga is peak because of the comment section to the point you skip reading the chapters just for the quarrels.

Ngl, this is pretty true, except the quarrel part, we all unanimously agree that the manga is shit and Chorizo should dump Kazuya and he should get hit by a truck.

And most of the people who comment actually don't even read the chapters, they're all just here for the community dogshitting and the memes.

Finally tried Black Beacon on my bro's old phone. If I had to crudely summarize the story, it's "Reverse:1999 but with Hack-n-Slash gameplay". Instead of "The Storm", it's "Anomalies from the Black Beacon (aka the Tower of Babel)". The first chapter is pretty confusing, but it does a good job on showing the significance of the MC (called the Seer).

As for the gacha, from what I've read so far, the first copies of 5-star are always guaranteed. After getting the event 5-star, it'll be (I think) 70/30 and not 50/50. Each character has different weapons, so it's a different system compared to ZZZ or Aether Gazer.

It's a good game so far. It's just, that in terms of gameplay, PGR and ZZZ is miles better than Black Beacon. But then again, different strokes for different folks. I think Black Beacon's strong points lies in the setting and character designs.

By quarrels I mean seeing how many people are getting banned in the discussion and how high the flames are. In the end, it's thanks to that shitty series that a better one was written: Rental Trash Girlfriend.
Anyways, this is merely action shonen applied to romcoms, there's still a long way to the 100th volume to see if they can be that consistent. It could be worse, like closing only one eye like in the late 2000s - early 2010s in ecchi manga, every single chapter.
