Calling it now. This is some sort of 'self-sacrifice' to protect the girls, but the girls eventually makes the truth come to light and Washio is cleared from suspicion, and everyone feels bad. Meanwhile, Washio is being pathetic and will pathetically do nothing while the girls rescue him, then later be flustered by people apologizing to him because that's just how humble and nice he is. He will get more girls throwing themselves at him, who he will reject while stoically refusing to have any personality whatsoever as the plot happens around him.
with MCs like that how can people be even against NTR ? this show so much lack with human interaction, anything even NEAR with what this MC is doing would be reciprocated with the girls changing partners, like i said before, i could understand if the MC was like 12-15 and just a virgin without malice
even tho i agree with you, probably this is exactly what will happen, a side of me truly wants a dark turn where the MC gets fucked, the girls that he helped will grow to hate him, the guy that he hates will get all his students and he would get expelled with dishonor from the school and he will forever remember what he could have done and didnt do when he had the chance with a lonely and forgetfull death, this would imo turn the work from 3/10 to a 10/10

the issue here is that we are not talking about this edgy teenager, we are talking about the mature protagonist that fougth a war and took his time to teach other beastmen like creatures
one would expect at least some maturity comming from this guy with "maybe if i do absolutely nothing i will lose everyone and the guy thats fucking with me will get everything that he wants"
