Glad they explain what happen with the steamed bun.
The Great Sage is in the village, Bandana is trying to find the current location to report in as they're constantly moving around to avoid being targeted by the anti-human Demon faction and greedy human countries. So The Great Sage is trying to find leads on Kuruto's village which explains why Bandana has been slyly tying to manipulate all the actions and scenarios surrounding him.
Either that, or his Village is actually in a different dimensional plane, where time moves differently (or no one ages there at all as long as they live). And I could really use some recap when the releases are this sparse! So he is immortal or something? It would not be impossible given that his village creates impossible potions like they are lemonade or something!![]()
to be fair kuruto is how a japanese would say kurtIt's weird they always do that.
The official translations for the animated series has "Kuruto" as "Kurt", and it's distracting as fuck all.
The translation is not wrong though. It's weird they always do that.
Japanese doesn't work that way. They can just say "Kurt". It's a sound that exists; they don't have to pretend that it doesn't. Or they can translate it in the subtitles as "Kuruto" to go with the name they're actually saying.
I could even make the argument that "Karuto" more closely mimics the rhythm and compactness of “Kurt” in terms of impact, syllabic stress, and auditory texture than "Kuruto" does. The two long "oo" sounds in "Kuruto" gives the name a completely different feel that "Kurt", which is short and punchy; "Kuruto"'s two "oo" sounds makes it sound too round and too soft compared to "Kurt".
It's just distracting, and I'm really just more annoyed that sub groups now just rip the official subs and injecting whatever formating they prefer instead of making subs of their own so I can't even find a version that has "Kuruto" in the subs.
I don't think the village is in a different dimensional plane since Hildigard and her father visited to buy things to sell. I think either Karuto's village has a medicine or food that slows down the aging process, or they did what the grandma did in the flashback and made a medicine that rejuvenates.Either that, or his Village is actually in a different dimensional plane, where time moves differently (or no one ages there at all as long as they live).
And MC's Village moving around just means that they exit their Village and travel around for trading or something.
Wut ... Dang alright 😅Next chapter will have a rather...'interesting' reveal.
That flashback with Kuruto and Hildegard last meeting? That's 1,200 years ago.
I think they still want him to be the mayor of the frontier town, and that requires a noble title. But he wouldn't accept suddenly given a fief, so they will lie to him, and tell him it's just a honorary title.Just a baron? They are trying to get him for cheap
They probably wanted to avoid Kuruto seeing how Solfare and Hildegard interact. It's kinda funny to just go "ehhhh, Solfare will find Hildegard eventually". Considering Solfare was doing what she did for Hildegard, it feels like Kuruto should've at least tried to stop Hildegard and be like "wait wait, before you go, there's that lady we want you to meet who was trying to save you", to let them meet up before they left.
Not really.Just a baron? They are trying to get him for cheap
Yeah, it pisses me off. I read "Kurt," but the VA obviously says "Kuruto."The official translations for the animated series has "Kuruto" as "Kurt", and it's distracting as fuck all.
9 episodes into anime.I went and check out the anime. Three chapters so far. The quality seems to mid. Which I think shown in characters facial animations. It make me want to reread the manga more.
